Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.
That declaration has always rung true for me about the writing life. I love writing and I love putting my words on page – have since I first learned to write – but the process itself can be…a little strange. Staying up until 4am to finish that last chapter, obsessing over a single paragraph that probably won’t make it into the final draft, acting out your scenes, getting so attached to a figment of your imagination that you shed real tears when you inevitably hurt them…it’s all part of the package. Socially accepted madness, if you will.
I’m T.H. Griffiths and this is my life. Author, editor, wife, and mom to a toddler and two cats. I love mysteries and I will be releasing my very own novel of suspense, Someone’s Watching, in late 2016 (look for the cover reveal soon!). I’m always looking for new books to read and passionately support independent authors and artists.
